The Challenge
Ghost Light Farm produces pasture-raised Angus beef in Cambridge, New York. Their hands-on, values-driven approach sets them apart as a trusted source of ethically raised beef, and they came to us for support in sharing that message with potential customers.
The Solution
With a custom marketing plan, fresh design assets in hand, and an updated website, Ghost Light Farm was positioned to grow beyond farmers markets into regional grocery, co-op, and online sales. And with an ongoing marketing retainer, we have the opportunity to continue assessing their needs and developing a path forward.
Marketing Plan
Our work with Ghost Light Farm began with a custom marketing plan so we could align their marketing efforts with their goals.
We looked at all of their marketing channels and assessed what was working, what wasn’t, and helped them identify clear next steps to building a sustainable business.
Branding Design
One takeaway from their marketing plan was the need for a cohesive brand identity that felt farm-direct and authentic.
Doing so would help them succeed in retail and upscale markets by building consumer trust through consistent visual design, storytelling, and professional presentation.
With that in mind, we refreshed their logo and designed labels for their tallow body products to make them stand out at market.
Website Support
With fresh product labels in hand, Ghost Light Farm wanted a website page dedicated to their best seller.
The goal of this page was to educate consumers on the benefits of using tallow on their skin to remove barriers to making a purchase. After some SEO keyword research and a copywriting session, we designed a new page on their existing Shopify site to support tallow sales.
Marketing Retainer
After our initial work with Ghost Light was complete, they opted to sign up for a monthly retainer to grow their online presence.
We’re working to expand their website around high-value keywords and products - especially their tallow balm skincare line, and cowboy jerky. We provide ongoing SEO strategy, new product design support, and monthly analytics reviews to measure ranking gains and guide next steps.
